A 1968 Chevy Caprice? Wow, I like it.
My first car was a 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It was a hulking Metal Beast that was painted light blue on the outside and had giant white vinyl seats included with it's amazing 8-track. I had all the Earth Wind & Fire albums.
That car definitely looks really good on the inside. I can't help but wonder about performance though.
A couple of years ago I got lucky and found a great deal on an older Volvo S60. I think it gets something like 210 horsepower and let me tell you something..... that sucker can fly.
I guess if you got a family then being comfortable is the most important thing. It sounds like that car really does have all of the amenities.
I think I would have a difficult time though going from this car with it's powerful metal to the pedal, to an economy saving model.
It really is a great looking car though. Do you really have a license plate on the front that says steemit?
The '68 was like riding in your living room. Lol. Oh, the Monte Carlo is a classic now too! Your description of it brings me right back to the 70's. My wife and I still listen to E.W.&F. : )
The Prius definitely isn't a performance car by any means. It accelerates quickly enough for traffic but you won't get that "plant you back in your seat G-force" that you would with more horsepower. It's not super nimble handling-wise either. I'll try to save my thirst for performance until I get my Tesla in a few years.
You made a great choice with the Volvo S60. That brand is bullet-proof in more ways than one. They were so far ahead of their time through the 60's and 70's with their engineering and safety features. It's amazing how many of the older ones you still see on the road.
No, the plate is Photoshopped. : ) Thanks, @jeezzle!
