The Game Boy color was once the best mobile console for playing video games, with a super resolution of 160 x 144 pixels, a RAM of 32KB and a 2 AA batteries needed for bringing you more than 30 hours of playing. Not Bad haha
With the Game Boy, both sales recorded 32.47 million units in Japan, 44.06 million in the Americas, and 42.16 million in other regions.
It was released in 1998 and replaced by the GameBoy Advance in 2001.

But the most important is... if you had ever played gameboy color, you remember the tons of joy it produced, so maybe there are a lot of innovation and even more realistic experiences in video games now, but no one can substitute a childhood accompained with GameBoy Color.
