These are good thoughts. It’s hard for me to feel like I have a good grasp of how things have changed, or whether we’re still in the early gradations of some vast shift—all of what we’re seeing may be part of a different change in how humans function that’s different than what we see now.
One thing that I think places Steem at a disadvantage is that it’s much more attractive to people who are natural content-generators, not just folks looking to chill and catch up with friends. It’s got that element, but it’s not as easy to just browse away on as Facebook or Twitter or Instagram.
But like you point out, we’ve starved ourselves for connection, and suddenly we’re seeing it, and it’ll be fun to see how we solve the problem.
