Hello! I am going to narrate a new story, which happened in real life.
On summer of April 1990 I was travelling in the train for a long journey about 48 hours from Varanasi to Madras (later called Chennai ) both cities are in India. At that time also there were the longest railways routes in India. It had to travel some 2,000 kilometers, passing through 4 states.
On the evening the train departed from Varanasi at 3 pm, crossed the towns of Jabalpur, Ittarsi and Nagpur then reached Warangal at 10 pm night. The 30-hour journey has already passed and 2 hours late. The passengers in the train were sleeping and the new passengers woke up only. Shortly after the train departed, I slept in my berth.
As the morning woke up, the train stopped at every signal. I looked out side through the window there were hills and forest so I asked nearby passenger about the status of the train, he told the the train was running between Kukineni and Kondappalli.
The train stopped at every signal and was running very slowly, at one signal the train has stopped for long time, and the place was in the jungle. The passengers were waiting for the train to get to the station for a breakfast, unfortunately train stopped there. Everyone was hungry, The train is about 3 hours stopped in the forest area, but the train does not seem to go further. I asked TTR about the status of the train, he said that there was an accident on the same track, and the train does not go further until it is cleared.
The passengers also tired, and the children cried out hungry, food on the train were solved, the train did not have a kitchen or pantry, there was no villages nearby so no food vendors has came.
It's been 6 hours long and the train does not seem to continue the children cried out hungry and their parents were woried. Everyone had money but did not even buy a slice of bread. What can be done with money, can we swallow coins or notes? Everybody wish the train to move, had prayed to GOD. They were waiting for green signal.
It happened that minute, I do not know where she comes from, she entered to the coach, had a basket on her head and the basket full of Guava fruit. Everyone surprised that she was a fruit vendor.
Everyone rushed and bought the fruits. If she had thought, she could have just get bulk money from any one and sold off the fruit, but she did not. She shared with everyone for little money, gave even to all, and little more to children.
Everyone understood that God is everywhere and I Thanked god.

Thought-provoking story there. You can't put a value on human kindness and money is only valuable when there's exchange. Thank you for sharing!
