RE: One Thousand and One Nights: Aladdin and the Magic Lamp: 36th Night

in #story2 years ago

he rubbed the ring that the Maghrebi had given him in the vault.

I totally forgot about that ring as did Aladdin too! He had a source of help with him all the while but instead wallowed in pity and sadness. Also, his faith in Allah helped to soothe him emotionally or he could have killed himself.

I'm happy the genie was able to transport Aladdin to the location of his palace even if he can't bring to palace to him. Doing so would have made the magic lamp useless. I can't imagine the shock of the servant seeing Aladdin right under the window. The princess will be excited but have lots of questions for Aladdin. Though we don't know what transpired between the Maghrebi and the princess in Aladdin's absence. Did the socercer reveal who he is to the princess or what he's relationship is with Aladdin or what the lamp represents?

I can't wait to read how Aladdin will proceed from here. It seems he will require the help of his wife but first he must explain the mystery of all that's happening to the princess. Thanks for sharing this fascinating story. 😊😊

Yes, but how come, during all these years that he had the ring, he never rubbed it?

I too wonder why he never used the magic ring all these while. He preferred to make use of the magic lamp instead. Maybe because the power of the ring is limited when compared to the lamp.
