RE: One Thousand and One Nights: The Story of the Vizier Nouredine, his Brother the Vizier Chamseddine, and Hassan Badreddine: Third Night

in #story2 years ago

This is captivating! Its interesting that Noureddine settled down in Basra due to the vizier's persuasion and married his daughter. He must have felt happy and at home with these people, away from his envious brother.

Ironically, Chamseddine returns and begins to mourn his brother. This portrays the character of most people. We don't value what we have been blessed with until we lose it. Then we see the value and work harder to get it back. If only Chamseddine had not spoken such heartbreaking words to his brother, they may still be together.

From another view, I think it's fate at work. Now the brothers have settled down in marriage and like they predicted, they bore a girl and a boy. I'm sure somehow the children will meet and fall in love bringing the two brothers back together again. The question is, when that time comes, will the issue of dowry rise become a bone of contention? Or will Chamseddine behave in a matured manner and let go of such flimsy issue? I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for sharing. 😊
