So right, things have changed enormously!
We also used to drive to the city centre and look at the Christmas lights; cars used to queue up at the Drive-ins for movies; so many simple pleasures that today's children would scoff at.
We're having a calmer weekend with a nice quiet family in the cottage, Easter was crazy here! Had a hot hot day yesterday, lovely and cool today, Durban's like that; can even experience all 4 seasons in one day!

Oh, I remember drive-in movies and "car hop" diners. I'm glad you're having a calm weekend. Now that I work for myself I tend to lose track of what day it is, what a nice feeling that is! Winter is hanging on here in Minnesota. It's 18 degrees (Fahrenheit) this morning and we still have snow in the forecast for the coming week. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
