A chiseled nose, a square jaw, smooth and creamy face, hair falling forward, body built like that of an adonis, perfect white teeth, a smile that would make a nun blush, piercing blue eyes that seem they could look into a soul;
Okay, this is not me, only the kind of person I wished I was. Instead, I was the kind of guy you would look twice at, not because he is cute but because he has; two shovel teeth, a twisted nose, and the kind of guy that took only a glance to know they were weird.
Girls look at me and there is pity written all over their faces, who wants them anyway well I actually do. What kind of teenage guy with raging hormones won’t want girls?
Well, this isn’t a story about me instead it’s about a fair maiden that was badly wronged in her teenage years and a lesson to young girls out there that melt at the mere gaze of that perfect eyes and square jaw. A story that shows the problem of falling into that trap.
It all started out fine, the prettiest girl in junior school dating the most handsome boy. The natural order of life except that sometimes it doesn’t work that way. Our heroine, Sophia by name was the kind of daughter any mother could ask for, the kind any brother would pray to have, the kind any boy would dream of dating but, anytime there is a but in a sentence it’s not always good she had the knack for falling for the wrong sort. A beautiful girl with a tender heart and an all forgiving spirit will only get her heart broken……so they say.
She lost her dad at a tender age and since then it had been her, her brother and her mum. Things were not really going smoothly financially and troubles with her younger brother, but she was lucky enough to bag a scholarship. The most brilliant and the prettiest girl, something like rarely come up.
The party of the year had finally arrived, everyone wanted to feel among, even the geeks sought out tickets for the party, and teenagers had fights with their parents to attend this party, sneaked out of houses, bribed siblings to keep their mouth shut. Not that I support but hey, what’s life worth living if it’s not on the edge. Sophia being the Belle of the class was forced to go by her friends and the lure of that squared jaw, smooth and juicy tongue was too much to bear.
She didn’t want to be the girl that did everything her parents wanted; she wanted to be free, free to make her own decisions.
Remember that great guy I mentioned at the beginning of this story, the one with the face of an Adonis, well, he wanted something to do with Sophia you can only guess what and with help from her, friends he finally convinced her to go. So against all warnings of her parents she went.
The party started out okay, drinks was distributed; the dance floor was packed, bodies rubbing against each other, people having the time of their lives. It wasn’t until after midnight that the true reason of the party came to light, all the time the drinks being distributed to the girls were laced with a strong compound that made them unaware of what they were doing for several hours. They had no control over themselves and they were ripe for the taking.
One by one they started falling asleep and it was time to have fun with them. And as luck would have it Sophia was the first to be utilized, and it wasn’t until they were done with her did the police men arrived. The boys were arrested but the deed had already been done.
The once bright flower had been tainted by the red hand of deceit and it would take awhile for it o shine bright again. The scholarship was almost withdrawn and she suffered a great deal but as they always say, time heals everything.
So before you fall for that cute guy with all the good looks and all, be careful to get to know them first and remember you are special in every way and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
