One of the most amazing stories that I've even heard is The Bet by Anton Chekhov, he was a very smart man, he published his book in 1889 and it turn out to be the most value piece of art in the world.
I haven't read the book but I was listening the audio version of the book, and I got stunned...
If you haven't finished the book you can just speed up the process and listen to this 17 minutes audio.
The moral of the story is that when you see enough of the world through books and personal experience you just realize how awful this place is and you kinda lose a huge part of yourself as everything you've been told is a lie and nothing more, some adapt to it, some can't, it is a long journey, but one thing is for sure, it changes you.
That sums up what I've been experiencing last years actually. Some things I'd rather not known, others I am glad to see the truth now but yeah it makes me feel like I've been lied to my entire life also.. The world is quite twisted ..

I would love to read the book but I think I already got the point, maybe I will move to other books, Dostoevsky is quite cool to read too. It is good to see that other people share the same point of view with you, it gives you hope, thanks :)
