History of Love and Terror:
- They say that a long time ago, in the Mexican small town of Tiltepec, in Chiapas, lived a beautiful young girl who since childhood had dreamed about her wedding day. Day and night he thought about the white dress he was going to wear, the flowers he would hold in his hands and the big party that would be held at the doors of his house. And of course, he longed to meet the lucky man who would steal his heart. She grew up to be a very beautiful and pretended girl, who finally gave in to the charms of another young man whose name is unknown, but he was very loved in the town. The two enjoyed a very long and happy courtship, until they decided it was time to get married.
- Emerald, the young girl began to arrange everything for the event. The food that would be served and the people they would invite, the flowers to decorate the chapel and the mass. She also began to make her wedding dress, with the finest lace she could get in the surroundings; something that was not easy, due to the humble situation of his people. But the occasion warranted it. A few days before the wedding, the girl was trying on her wedding dress, when rumors came that her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend. Blind with jealousy, he left his home in his attire and found them both in full adventure.
- Crazy with pain, the young bride grabbed a stick and lashed out at both, as if possessed by a murderous instinct. A pure blows took their lives, staining his beautiful dress with his blood. Then she wept bitterly for the young man she had loved so much and betrayed her. The day of the wedding arrived and it was not going to be celebrated, so everyone in the town began to point and make fun of the young woman. Unable to withstand the pressure she chose to commit suicide but not before casting a curse on Tiltepec, condemning all those who had made fun of her to die in the most atrocious ways.
- They say that this was fulfilled and that his spirit continues to roam the town, unable to find eternal rest. He still cries for the lost love and for not having been able to see his greatest dream realized: to marry in white in the church.
Since then, every time the bells of the church are retouched, marking the hours from nine in the evening until three in the morning, you can see a macabre figure wandering the streets, dressed in a long and stained wedding dress of blood. A ghostly echo shouts in the distance, "Long live the boyfriends!", Terrorizing people who shut themselves up in their houses.
If someone happens to leave in the middle of the night, he runs the risk of meeting the ghostly bride and seeing how his soul is trapped by the curse of Tiltepec.
