Time seems to be going by so quickly and l have to face that reality.
My daughter is about to graduate. Already discussing how many hours
of work she should do this summer. If she should work two part time jobs
or work one with more hours. Her mother is helping her with the rest of the
paper work that still needs to be done, which dorm room she will stay in on campus. I
ask myself will the person she rooms with be friendly or not?
I wonder how will she handle a roommate for the first time if she doesn’t like her.
I know she has to find out on her own but l will always be protective of her.

Love you’re father and God.

Nic baby.

There are some moments that you will never forget as far as your children are concerned. The first time they went to school, first primary school and later high school for example. Also the time they leave your home to live independently and only come back for the weekend or less. The time they marry etc. When they leave your home, you feel a bit lost, but we all know in our hearts that it is the right thing for a child to do, but the empty-nest syndrome and the fear 'will they be alright' is a feeling that all parents have at a certain moment. I have three children who are all adults now and lead a life of their own. I am blessed that I have very good contact with them, but I remember well that they were still small and lived with me. I cherish those times in my heart.

I can remember her first word. When l was changing her diaper she said dada it just made my heart melt.
