Dia tersenyum bahagia, hati nya penuh bunga semoga sang cinta kembali dengan selamat. Namun entah apa gerangan sang kekasih tak kunjung turun dari pelabuhan hingga seluruh awak dan penumpang telah keluar dan kapal kosong oleh manusia.
Perempuan itu berjalan lesu pulang, sang cinta tidak hadir padanya. Hingga matahari terlihat Samar. seekor burung terbang tergesa karena terlambat. Perempuan tua itu ga sempat mengucapkan kata selamat jalan atau selamat jalan. Dia terjatuh tidur di pantai untuk selamanya.
