I've never actually read any of the Russian classics believe it or not. Definitely have been on my list for a long time now. For this list though I just stuck to newly published scifi.
Have you read Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie? Its the first in a trilogy. If you like good characterization and worldbuilding I highly recommend. I'm always on the lookout for good books, and I'll check a few of these out.
I've heard of Ted Chang, but never bothered to read anything by him.
As a side note, I'm glad to see that this kind of post is doing relatively well on Steemit.

Thanks! And I did read Ancillary Justice but I didn't love it and didn't read the rest of the trilogy. I liked the ideas in it bit the story never grabbed me. I know a lot of people loved that book though .
