GINA
It was Tuesday. Gina thought about how she tricked Mandy into receiving the ultimate punishment.
She actually felt horrible about it. She told herself she would never heckle Mandy again. Still, Gina's feelings about Mandy's father persisted. She found the whole story about her father being a turncoat fascinating and somewhat hilarious.
Gina wanted to tell Mandy something to be nice. She wondered if Mandy would accept an apology. Yes, she would try soon. But her mind was on the protest her sister was going to. If she was making fun of Mandy, why did she want to go with her sister to protest the same thing Mandy's father was protesting, though? Suddenly, nothing made sense. She tried to make sense of it all, but she could not.
She went to Ariella and Zachary's apartment.
"Gina! What are you doing here?" Asked Zachary.
"Paying a visit."
"Do your parents know you're here."
"Y-yes..." Gina replied, nervously.
"Ariella! Your sister's here!"
Ariella ran to the door. "You're not here because you wanna come join us at the protest, are you?"
"Yes I am!" Gina replied.
Ariella let out a long sigh. "I care about you, Gina. I want you to go home, okay?" Ariella said, as calmly and nicely as she could.
"I have a right to protest!" Gina insisted.
"I'm bringing you home; like it or not." She grabbed her little sister's wrist.
"No, Ari, please..."
"You're nothing but trouble, you know that, Regina?"
Gina managed to get free of her big sister and ran as fast as she could. She knew that the protest would be in the town square. She found a big crowd to jump in and hide.
But soon, violence erupted. Protesters clashed with police. Gina saw a teenage boy about her age struggling with a peace officer. The officer was hitting him in the face with his wooden club. She attacked the police officer. The boy got away, but Gina found herself in a jail cell
