Little boy who could

This neighbourhood is typical, us kids playing basketball, the usual bullies picking on nerds, girls fantasizing about Zack Hefron and giggling on the benches. Street lights went off in 8 pm but lights on the basketball court were up until midnight, we were considered special. Playing basketball is really something I could do for the rest of my life, I could be the next Mikael Bordan, shooting 3's was as easy as breathing for me.

But my problem was addiction, whatever I enjoy doing, I do it untill I can't stand on my feet so I got stuck in a routine - wake up, go to school, eat lunch and throw hoops until midnight. You could say this is good, because I want to be a professional basketball player... Not so much, I weigheted only half the weight of my friends, breakfast and lunch just didn't give me enough calories that I burnt up playing basketball for 10 hours every single day. Yes, I could go home and get dinner, but then I can't come back outside.

My parent never believed in me, they always said get good grades and find a good job. I couldn't imagine myself having a boss on top of my head yelling on me for his mistakes and me begging for a day off so I could stay with at home with my kids one day... With basketball I knew players are making milions of dollars per 1 game! 1 GAME! Is that fair? No, but why do people watch basketball games and earn the players so much money? Is that fair? No. So we're both in on this, huh? Despite weighting only 30 kilos I was the best of the best in all of the generations that I played with. Scouts were coming all the time, but they tought I'm just skinny short dude that is lucky to get the ball in...

Until one day, when a guy sat for 10 hours straight on a bench nearby, his eyes were on me for straight 10 hours, at first I tought he's mental and wants to rob me or worse. I was with my friends so I wasn't scared of him. Basketball court lights went off, we were all heading home, and this guy from the bench started walking towards me, but I had this tought in my head – I am not a pussy. I yelled „ Do you have a problem?!“ He started laughing, I tought this is it, I'm getting a knife in my belly, this guy is psycho... He had his laughs and then told me he is a scout, and he believed I could go pro, he watched me for 10 hours to convince himself that I can't miss the hoop and invited me to New Bloke. This was life changing moment for me, I talked to my parents and they refused that I go anywhere but school, so I ran away from home and went off with the scout.

We were in a first class department in an airplane, caviar, champagne, 50cm screen TVs, beautfiul aroma in the air but all of the sudden, what I tought was turbulence changed into again what I tought psychosis state. My arms started disappearing, my hair falling off, I ran to the bathroom and saw that I have a tail now, my arms were non existent, my legs forgotten and I turned white... Wait, this isn't a plane? Darkness, complete darkness all around me, I was flying for the first time in my life, or what's left of it. 10 kilometers flewn and I see a lot of big white structures, is this... is this a persons mouth?! A tidal wave kicked me through a hole. What is this, what is happening?! I see some yellow fluid and is that a taco? Oh my god, I am in a belly, and urhg... urhgh. Acid... aci... urhghguhg. My life was extinguished, my career of professional basketball player never to come true, but now I see why my parents didnt let me go.. After all parents want the best for you
