In the choices of life it really matters. If you have given options between religion and love, most of us select the first one. If the options are between parents and lover, the chances of both are 50 percent.

Padmapriya had gone through these elections and selected the latter of the two groups of options. Our heroine is the eldest daughter of an Aravind Verma, who belongs to a royal family in Hyderabad. Without a doubt, she belongs to a complete Orthodox family. But her parents raised her with all the freedom that a girl would want mainly because they loved her and believed her to the core.

One good night, Aravind received a call from Padmapriya who is studying his last year of LLB at Christ College, Bangalore. She calls her father to ask for blessings for his marriage that will happen the next day. The rest is what you can imagine. After so many what, why and how, Aravind announces the death of his eldest daughter and cuts the phone call. As death creates silence and darkness in the atmosphere, this news made the home a hell. Nobody speaks a word about her since then in her house.

In Bangalore, the condition was different. The celebrations have to be colorful, how? Everyone was in the mood for a celebration, except one. As you may have guessed, it was Padmapriya Verma who became Anna Roy from the next day on. His friends and Roy's family are busy fixing things for the 'Big Day'.

Roy, who was looking at her closely, took her hand and went to the balcony where he knew that no one would bother them. She hugged him and cried without making much noise. He asked her to calm down, since there were many people around her and they might notice it. He explained his father's reaction and the last words he had said were just like a knife piercing his heart.

When she finished, Roy's turn came. He said: 'Listen, Piya', I never forced you to marry me or even love me. It was you who proposed to me first, and even then I said a great NO, not because I did not love you but because I was aware of the consequences. But you were inflexible and you did not allow me to get away from you and I can not resist too much because I loved you too. After we decided to be together, I warn you to let your parents know the matter, but as usual you did not. You said you did not want to risk it. If you know things in advance, they will not allow you to be here in Bangalore. You are responsible for your choices, dear and you have to do it. Be brave at least to stay with what your mind says. Once again, I am saying: you can leave me now, we will stop all the arrangements, I will never blame you because I can understand you more than anyone else.

She went to see the program of her marriage, not because of any urgency, but thought it was better to leave her alone.

This is the only reason why he fell in love with Roy. He always values the feelings of others more than his own. She recalled a great discussion on the part of her parents about the conversion of Priya and he was the one who strongly protested against her and asked them to do the ceremony in the registration office. They begged her to convert her only to do the rituals in the church and gave her permission to live as she pleased. They said it was their long-standing desire for their only son's wedding.

'What about the wishes of your parents mom? She had spoiled all her wishes just for me. She has already left her parents, brothers and at home. Now, how can you ask him to leave his religion in which he was born and raised? How could their parents control their feelings if they know of their conversion? Please, do not open this topic again! This was Roy's reaction.

Her mother warned her that she was not ready to attend her marriage if she was in the registry office. When Priya found out, she simply said 'yes' to the conversion without even discussing the matter with Roy. When he asked her about it, she said she wanted the blessings of at least one family and told her that nothing of her will change after the conversion. She will be the same as before and the conversion ceremonies are just to satisfy the church and make their parents happy. Priya even asked her what problem they have when they do something that will make so many people happy without affecting us. He warned her that she was so stupid that she never reached maturity in her thoughts. This is something that Roy gets irritated with his character. She made decisions without thinking twice. She is very impulsive and inflexible. She will do what she wants and cry for losing something else while pursuing her wishes.

Roy's words made her travel years ago. Everything he said was correct. It was she who proposed it between a friend's bachelor party. She began to observe this man from the day she saw him and fell in love with him, since she understood that his heart was a thousand times more handsome than him. She used all the possibilities of interacting with him. She became a volunteer in Arts and Sports programs at the university only because she excelled in both. Soon they become friends. He also admired his qualities without knowing that all his attempts are only to attract him. Little by little he also fell in love with her, but he did not show it because he knew the consequences that would follow and did not really want to hurt anyone.

A girl does not need much to understand that a man had fallen in love with her. When he realized, he proposed it and his answer (no) was not really convincing for her. Then she followed him wherever he went. She relaxed when she left the university, but she was not in the mood to leave. One day she asked him to meet her one last time and gave her two options: to live a life with her or to let her die. He understood how serious it was and the intensity of his love. He had to select the first option since he had no other option.

Her chain of thoughts broke when she was called for dinner. After dinner, Roy went to her and asked her about her final decision. She replied that her first decision in itself is final and, although she is sad because she had to hurt her parents, she is also happy in a part of her heart, since she will marry a jewel, a true gentleman. And more than that she does not want to lose him for anything in the world.

This is the decision of a girl of twenty years. Love is the only thing before her that is definitely blind. No one can say it as right or wrong. It may be that she will regret this decision, maybe not. Who knows what fate holds? But what you have to notice is that you are solely responsible for your choices.
