I have lucid dreams sometimes. If I'm journaling my dreams every day and doing reality checks, they happen more often, but they also happen spontaneously.
It's funny that almost everyone who lucid dreams gets around by flying. Apparently, most humans are just sitting around waiting for their chance to fly. I do the Superman thing, sometimes making swimming motions if I'm not moving well. I tried roller blading once, but it wasn't nearly as cool.
I think meditation helps with lucid dreaming. At times in my life when I'm meditating more, I have more of them. I'm also less likely to wake up too soon. I've had some really long lucid dreams with time to explore and try things, and I'm pretty sure that was from meditation.
It's amazing how real they are, isn't it? It messes with my sense of reality. What if waking life is a dream too, and someday I'll wake up in it and find that I can change my environment just by wishing it?
That photo is so gorgeous. I can't stop looking at it.
Thanks,
I'll have to try meditation , my dreams are always so quick to end .
