HELLO FELLOW STEEMIANS!

Hello fellow Steemians, my name’s Rose Miller, and I’m a published author of children’s stories. Thanks to one of my sons introducing me to Steemit I have decided to go ahead and publish one of them here.

As a new Steemian I hope that some of you, my fellow Steemians, will see if your children would like to read it, or maybe you would like to read it to them.

Now for a little about myself. I’ve led a very interesting life which began in the North West of England, then extending to London at the age of sixteen. Much later on I lived and worked in Malta, Tripoli (Libya) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) doing secretarial work in the oil and hospital sectors. I was married for a number of years and had two sons. I now have two grandchildren aged ten and thirteen years.

My favourite past-time is writing children’s stories and I’ve been doing this on and off for a number of years, but until recently have never given much thought to self-publishing any of them.
Okay, well on to my first story, which can be found under ‘Fiction’. It’s called ‘Breakfast Time’ and is all about an eight-year old boy called Alex who’s just been given a very unusual dragon egg cup by his mother for his birthday. He loves his new egg cup but hates eating boiled eggs at all times. Oops, could this be a problem?? It won’t be if the dragon gets involved!

I hope you like it and give it a vote. The next story to follow on from ‘Breakfast Time’ is called ‘Horrid Homework’, so please look out for it.
