His wife shook him again but still, he did not open his eyes. Then, she pushed him off the bench and he fell to the ground, he became really furious. He opened his eyes finally to look around and he discovered that he was still poor and he was still living in his old house.
He stares at his wife in an annoying manner and he got up and ran into his room to see if his bags of money were there and there was nothing definitely. He was crest-fallen, so it was only a dream, he said to himself, then he quickly remembered that Uchanga had given him seven days, so he felt the reason is because it is not yet seven complete days from the time he went to see Uchanga.
I believe I am dreaming of the things tht will happen soon, he smiled to himself. Just then, Ngozi came into the room and looked at him, he looked at her with disgust and walked out of the room, he planned that when he becomes rich, he will send her away because even from the dream, it was obvious that she will cause problem for him.
Everyday, Uchenna would spray the perfume and sit down and begin to day-dream of the day when he will become rich and he will fall asleep and begin to dream of himelf becoming very wealthy and owning the entire village.
This is beautiful...
Living in the illusion. I guess everyone does that. I do that too. Dreaming of things I desire. But I guess it is suffice to say - dream isn't real. The real work needs to be done for the dreams to become a reality.
you are very correct, but that is what the lazy man in the story does not know. He only dreams but never works.
