Female Bodies in Irrigation Langkahan Have Infant Fetus

A female corpse found in Alue Dua irrigation, Langkahan Sub-district, North Aceh, on Sunday (4/2) is suspected to be young pregnant. It was revealed during the evacuation, together with the body found baby fetus.

Compiled AJNN, the baby's fetus was found with the corpse. From the condition of the fetus, the victim is thought to have been pregnant approximately three months. The victim was also alleged to have been killed three days before being found by residents.

"It's time to be picked up, besides the body is also a baby (fetus), probably out of the womb of the victim, it looks like the victim was pregnant before dying," said M. Daud, Keuchik Alue Two, as confirmed AJNN.

Related to the alleged death toll being killed, North Aceh police chief AKBP Untung Sangaji through Kasatreskrim Iptu Rezki Kholiddiansyah said the case is still under investigation.

"We can not conclude, we will finish the investigation process, we will wait for the autopsy result," he said.

Until this news is released, police are still conducting investigations at the scene including requesting testimony from witnesses. The identity of the victim is also unknown.

As previously reported, a female corpse was found by a resident in the Alue Dua Langkahan irrigation channel in a supine position stuck with a branch of a tree. The body was found by a local resident when he was about to cut grass on the edge of irrigation.
