He seemed a beast
His words made me retreat
Loveless and heartless
Everyone close was clueless

Life was to him just a tally book
The above poem tries to capture the pain and struggle of someone who has gone through immense challenges in their lifetime. We do not realize the story behind the scenes when we point fingers at someone. The emotions and the experiences of a person are conveyed through this poem.
The person whose words seemed harsh was trying to cover up his emotional insecurities. Often blaming those who were most gullible seemed to be the easy way out. Unchecked, this led to abuse, and a pattern was formed. Nobody bothered to correct or they were too disconnected with him and did not want to get involved at all, perhaps.
One thing led to another and time passed quickly. Those who were supportive slowly walked away or recognized the 'self-pity' and victim syndrome.
What many people do not realize is that humans prefer happiness and when there is happiness and laughter around, they will gather around to share the happiness.
Abused people develop an attitude and such a person can in turn hurt others or affect others in a bad way. The only way is to correct such behaviors otherwise it will lead to huge problems that cannot be reversed.
Life is full of problems if you look at it in a certain way. It is like holding a coconut inside a small pot. If you try to take out your hand along with the coconut, you will not be able to. If you let go of the coconut, then you can easily take out your hand. Likewise, you cannot solve worries if you hold on to it. If you let go of doubts, past hurts, anger, regrets, emotional traumas, and such experiences, you can start living life free.
Life is beautiful. Live it. Have hopes.
