The Magical Horn

You slowly climb the stairs as a guard in tattered armor looks up and down the hallway. The guard, Ivoreen, notices that his friend is back and is greatly relieved from his ambush by the trolls. He smiles and waves to his friend as the prince sets down his horn on the table. The prince notices this and looks at the lawman and sets down his weapon of choice. Ivoreen laughs and asks you how your travel was? You tell him it was fine.

The prince asks you, "Are you hungry or thirsty Princeess? I see you've taken up a weapon," He asks. You look at the weapon and say that he looks very strange. You tell Ivoreen that the weapon chosen is a sword. Ivoreen says, "I guess you are a knight and protect the kingdom from danger." You tell him that you believe you are the only one who will risk his life for the kingdom, but he also protects it from different things. "Do you protect the kingdom from the trolls?" You ask him. He tells you that he does, but that not just himself is protecting all of Velan. "I know this is hard to believe but the trolls don't like meat. They prefer the bones and hair of the creatures they kill," He explains to you.

You ask him how he can tell, but you don't have any, "Have you ever seen them in the forest at night?", he asks, ''I have never seen them,'' you tell him. "Well, you need to go, go find some. It will break their appetite," He tells you.

You look at him and tell him that you are selling you heart for living, "I know," he says, "that's why I'm here helping you, I can't let you go alone." You finally leave after thanking him for everything. As you walk by the troll, he recognizes you and asks if you would like a quick Gob link. You turn quickly and shake your head no as you walk down the stairs. The guard looks at you and wonders as you walk out of sight. He looks at you and tells himself that this is crazy and things like this can't be real.

You arrive in a castle with the two tallest walls ever built. You look around the wall and see the army that is protecting the kingdom. Soldiers and knights are outside of the castle with their weapons of choice. The first thing you do is tell the guard that you are prince. All of the soldiers and knights bow low to you and give you the password. You are given the key to the castle and taken to your room.

You walk in and see a bed, your own room, a wardrobe, a table with a knife, a clothes rack, a lamp, and a rucksack. You look at the knife and you notice that the blade is straight and has a clear handle. You look at the clothes rack and you notice that they are ones that you have never seen before. You open up the rucksack and see many strange things, including potions, one of which is the magic light drink, which makes you feel as if this is truly an enchanted place. You grab your sword and walk toward the bed. The bed is magically made for you and as you set your sword down on the cabinet, you notice your father's horn. You pick it up and notice that it is hot to the touch. "I wonder if the horn is magical," you say out of ur sound mind.

As you lay on the bed, you feel rested and relax. As you look at your surroundings, you notice a table by the door. I notice that the table is covered in letters. You walk toward the table and a soldier greets you. He asks, "I know this is a strange request, but your room is empty, so I was wondering if you could empty it." You look at him and say that it is empty. You tell him, "The only thing in the rucksack is a strong grass I have." You tell him that you also have a knife too. He tells you that you can keep them as long as you don't lose it. You thank him and walk to the door.

The guard tells you that he lost his key a few days ago and has to get it from the king. He tells you that the guard at the gate is the "keeper" of the key. You walk down the stairs and the guard is at his post. You ask him if he has a key and you ask him if he can open the gate. He turns around and tells you that he will open it, but he has to give you something in return, "I'll give you a bottle of "strong water" in exchange for the key," He tells you.

He is a little reluctant of giving you the water, but you choose the wealth over the key, "Here's the key only, are you sure you want see me here," he asks you. You pull out the water, wash it off, and walk up to the gate. Bits say, "No, I don't," as he walks back to the throne room.

You stand in front of the gate as you try to open it, ''I don't have a key...what do I do?'' you say to yourself. As you try to think, you look off to your left and see a bucket of water. You walk to the bucket and you pick it up, "I need something to put the water into," you say. You start to walk and look around the gate when you notice a bag on the ground. You run to it and notice the bag of gold, "a good trade I guess," you say to yourself as you fill the bucket with the water.

You turn around and see that it is pouring rain. You walk toward the gate and notice a small stream flowing into the moat. You walk toward it and as you do, you notice an arrow in the ground. It looks as if it has come out of the ink, but it doesn't look like a troll arrow. You kneel down and look at the tip of the arrow and realize that it looks very similar to the tip of the one you are carrying. You notice a book by your feet, "I'm reading, that's right! This book is beautiful," you look down to it and notice an illustration, "This wolf looks scary, but I wonder what he is saying," you say. You walk toward the illustration and take a closer look at it.

The illustration shows a wolf standing next to a man. It looks as if the wolf is tending to the man's wounds, "I understand you. I am a wolf too," you say as you stand up and look at the man. His hair is shaggy and you can tell he is a little older because of the scars on his face. You stand there as you feel something in your pocket, you pull it out and notice a bone, "This bone reminds me of my mother, I will take this to her," you say as you walk toward the gate. The guard looks at you strangely as you wave the bone.

You look at the guard and notice that he is feeling sick and he climbs the ladder to the gate, "I hope you feel better, good luck," you say as he gets out of sight. As you walk toward the gate you look to your right and see a man wearing a hooded cloak, "I have a feeling that this man is following me." As you walk up the steps to the gate, you see a man standing in front of you.
