š CAPUCHIN REDUX FOUNDATION LAUNCHES TO REVIVE MONKEY SERVICE COMPANIONS FOR THE DISABLED
KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE ā A bold new initiative seeks to turn back the clock and bring forward the future by reintroducing capuchin monkeys as trained service companions for individuals with mobility impairments. Funded by anonymous philanthropist and visionary "Bobby," the Capuchin Redux Foundation aims to reignite a once-celebrated practice with modern ethics, science, and heart.
"Dogs are incredibleābut sometimes you need a tiny genius with thumbs," Bobby, founder of Capuchin Redux, said during the announcement livestream. "These monkeys changed lives before, and theyāll do it again. Weāre building something that works better than nostalgiaāit works for the future."
