I go away for a few months and come back to War and Destruction
I was peacefully minding my own business, sailing the 7 seas. When all of a sudden I got surrounded by 12 military dingies. In the distance I could see a ginormous ship. The dingies all hooked onto my yacht and dragged me towards the ship. I didn't know whether I should make a swim for it, or fight. Lol. So I decided to lock myself in the cabin.
They eventually boarded and broke down the door to the cabin. I resisted for a good 5 minutes. They didn't draw any guns so neither did I. Eventually they overpowered me. They put me in restraints and dragged my up to their ship. I got thrown into a tiny room with no windows. It was pretty crazy.
I sat there for about 20 minutes before the Captain came in and apologized. They couldn't reach me on the radio (probably because it got knocked out in a storm 2 weeks earlier). The Captain explained that the world is at war, and all naval military vessels are on high alert.
I explained that I am sovereign only to the sea, and I do not care about land troubles. He insisted that I tell him my land name. So I did, and explained how I was exiled out of my country for being a defectant and enemy of the state. This didn't sit well with him.
I tried to explain that I have no real country to return to. But he didn't believe me. I was then taken to a naval base just outside Seyshelles. It seemed like the entire island was only occupied by the navy.
Eventually I was flown to India when they couldn't figure out who I was. So while I stayed there I learned some Hindu chants. It served me well. I met 3 guys who were hellbent on escaping our rather luxurious imprisonment. They had a plan to get all the guards drunk.
I figured it was worth a shot so I went along with them when they gave me the word. We successfully escaped and I made my way back to the nearest ocean. It was quite a journey. Luckily the infrastructure in India is lacking, so the authorities, whether they were looking for me or not, couldn't find me.
My yacht had been destroyed, or left, or both. Poor Betty. So I had to procure a new sea vessel. This wasn't too hard. People tend to leave their boats, for years, in moors and dock yards. I grabbed one, set sail for my island home. So here I am, safe and sound. Giving you guys the updates. The world is apparently at war. The seas aren't safe anymore.
