TOTAL HUMANITY
Abu Hurayrah, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "There was an unbelieving woman who saw a dog on a hot day so hot, the dog circled the well and stuck out his thirst, then he took off his shoes (then pulled the water with him). He is also forgiven for his deeds. "(HR Muslim No. 2245). Some of the benefits of the above hadith:

1 - What animal means is a respected animal that is not ordered to be killed. Giving drinks to animals will be rewarded. Feeding also includes a form of good deeds for him. Thus the explanation of Imam Nawawi in Syarh Sahih Muslim (14: 214). 2 - Hadith above also contains the motivation to do good to humans. If by giving a drink to a dog can get the forgiveness of sins, then giving a drink to humans will also get a great reward.

3 - If there are animals that need to be drunk, humans too, then humans take precedence.

Giving drinks to animals in need including dogs will reap rewards and wipe away sins.

5 - The magnitude of the grace of God and the level of His grace. He retaliates with great retaliation with a little deed. God forgives the sins of those who have little action, that is by giving the dog a drink.
