There was an old couple which had grown up kids and the kids already had own families. After some time the old lady died, and that situation forced the widow husband to move to one of his kids, so that someone could look after him.
His eldest son took him to his own house living with his own family. The oldness started to have some impact to widow’s mind, so he started walking around the house and asking about many things. The situation forced the eldest son to transfer his father to a separate place prior used as a driver's room. At that point the driver was given another room. Father has not really complained about the transfer, even old and with little unclear mind he still could understand that move from his son.
First the son was visiting his father daily but with some time passed by he started to visit him less and less ending up in visiting him like once a month. Preventing bad things to happen the old man was only given plastic plates, spoons, forks, ETC.. served by the maid daily. After some time the old man died. Son has decided to clean the place where he was living in the last period, so that the driver could move back in again. When cleaning the place he saw his own 5 years old son holding the plastic plate. So he said to the kid, why you are holding that plate, throw it away, you don't see it is dirty? But the kid didn't want to throw it, he said: ”I will keep this plate father, and when you are old I’ll give it to you and put your food in, like you did it to my grandfather” At that point the father realized a mistake he made, started to cry but the things have been done and he could not go back in time to fix them anymore.
I hope you get the bottom line of this story, always stay with your family and even your parents are old, don't throw them out to some kind of institution to take care for them, cos at the end they are still your parents and they still need own home and own family to be happy.
