I am African (Nigerian) with so much concern for the things on ground and the people around. Please refer to my post: 'The tragedy of Africa (part 1)' so you can follow the trend better.

Yes, Africa is the rich neighbour with a leaky roof. Blessed with resources but has not adressed her challenges
This is the story of Africa.
African leaders squander the resources of their countries, taking the looted funds abroad - to developed countries, thus helping the developed countries further develop their countries, including to Dubai, Malaysia and other countries that were at par with these African countries just a few decades ago.
These African leaders ruin their own countries and instigate wars and crisis just to hang on to power. Elite/ruling/political class quarrels over access to and maintenance/sustenance of power, of their political offices aggravate already chaotic conditions. Ethnic/tribal conflicts are fueled and fanned. Chaos, anarchy and wars ensue. And the ordinary people are too ignorant and unorganized to understand or to coalesce in solidarity against the fraudulent, dubious leader.....
Youths of Africa are taking huge risks to migrate to the Western world, just so they can live in sanity and reach their potentials. They are running away from a suffocating home...
There's little respect for Black people anywhere. They are humiliated everywhere in the Western world, Asia and the Arab world, even traded as slaves recently in Libya. They are humiliated even in their land. What a shame!
Everyone is tired of taking us in.
They know we can fix our leaking roof. And they know we are too selfish, too greedy to put things right. And they know that we can all decide and determine to fight for a better society but we rather flee to saner climes than confront our demons...
Everyday, Africa is killing her own,
This is our collective tragedy, our collective shame!
Lets fix our leaking roof, lets fix our mentality AFRICA and stop running to our neighbours' homes when it rains...
Only Africans can save Africa. And the time is NOW!
We get painfully tortured and humiliated..Africa o Africa.. My father's land..
Surely there is an end!
