Starry eyed, mystified

The stars descend from the great peaks of the inky black unknown, wondering in density of their long forgotten home among the galactic version of the Pacific ocean. Surely they don’t know better than to run to the Earth but what can I say?

Far above the night sky, I streak in sparkling white and silver lines and shimmer into a fading glow upon the face of the deep ocean blue. The sound of the salty water surrounds me as I sink, slowly, gently, peacefully into a silent slumber among my family of dolphins and sea urchin fans. Seaweed wraps around me warmly and keeps me safe as I drift from here to there in my dreams of the nebula forests.

Rainbow lines run across the ocean floor and reflect the moonlight in your eyes. A sweet nectar smell softens the mind to otherworldly places above the celestial heavens. As above, so far below does your voice remind me of times better spent in the stellar clouds and the Milky Way, spinning slowly like a pinwheel of hope and star dust. I feel calm and blissful, for euphoria grips me.

Farewell to you, sadness. Goodbye to hatred, wars, arguments and fights. I am going far away from here, to a place you can never find me. I am going to a safe haven. I am going home.
