THE PRINCE OF THE SEVEN GOLDEN COWS
The Prince of the Seven Golden Cows left, insulted by his former friends. At the castle gate, the poor began to cry:
“Hello, Prince of the Flat-Purse. Your valets were refusing us a piece of bread. They were releasing the dogs on our legs. Now you're a beggar. You put yourself out there, fooling around with lazy people and greedy people. But there is a Good God in heaven. The Good Lord is just, and you will live from alms like us,"
All this didn't last long. The Black Valet arrived at full gallop on his horse, an oak bar in his hand, with a pack of dogs, as tall and strong as bulls.
“Bold, my dogs!” Css! css! Bite them! Here, drunk! Here, pig! Here, thief! Catch this, and put salt on it. Ah! you insult the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows. Bang! bang! »
And the Black Valet struck, with great force, on the nobles, on the bourgeois, and on the poor. When all these dirty people were far away, he got off his horse and pulled on his beret.
“Prince of the Seven Golden Cows, you are no longer at home here. Get on that horse. He will take you to the accommodation I have prepared for you."
"I'm not going to a man I've chased away like a thief."
"Prince of the Seven Golden Cows, I stole from you, it’s true. But it was to give you something to live on when you were broke."
So the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows mounted his horse. Three days later, he arrived at the castle. For seven years, the Black Valet served him as before, without wanting wages, and no longer stole a farthing from him.
One evening, after supper, the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows called the Black Valet into his room.
“Black Valet, I am happy with you. I'm going to tell you a big secret."
"Prince of the Seven Golden Cows, speak. I know how to listen, and I have never come across as talkative."
"Black Jack, if I had wanted, I would have become even richer than before a long time ago. But, except for me and you, the earth is only inhabited by the scoundrel. This is why I no longer look for friends, and why I no longer give alms. Black Valet, I'm old. In a year, I will be underground. Before leaving, I want to teach you how to play the flute and play the tune that brings the Seven Golden Cows out of the ground, on Midsummer night, from midnight until sunrise. Go and saddle two horses at the stable, take a hatchet, and come and call me when everything is ready."
The Black Valet went out and returned a quarter of an hour later.
“Prince of the Seven Golden Cows, everything is ready."
They set off at full gallop. It was a Friday evening, the last of the year. It was freezing hard, and the black sky was riddled with stars. At exactly midnight, the riders arrived at a crossroads, where there was a cemetery, on the edge of a pond full of tall reeds.
“Black Valet, if you want to live, listen carefully, and do everything I am going to command you from point to point. You are going to dismount, take your hatchet, and cut down the largest of these reeds close to the ground. The reed will defend itself as best it can. Three times, it will change form, and make you see things that are not. Don't worry about it, and do your job. Remember that you only have three blows to give. If, at the third, the reed is not down, the earth will swallow you alive."
"Prince of the Seven Golden Cows, you will be obeyed."

I am writing translations of folk tales that I found in public domain French books, so that people who do not understand French may enjoy them too.
As I said yesterday, the Black Valet was the only friend of the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows. He took some gold and silver from the prince, but he did that with an honest goal.
Now the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows is going to reward the Black Valet.
Today, we are going to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Kati's mother.
Her three daughters will be there, as well as most of her seven grandchildren and her seven great-grandchildren.
Everybody will have dinner at a restaurant named Bagolyvár, which means "Castle of the Owl".
This is a nice restaurant.
Tomorrow I will tell about the celebration.

Right from the onset, I felt the black valet stole from the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows with a purpose in mind but I could not just conclude yet. Ahh! That man is a good, I must say. It was as though he saw this coming so he prepared for the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows. Should I say thank God he stole the gold?😅 of course not, stealing is not good but hell yes, I can't help but say it. Now the Prince of the Seven Golden Cows wants to reward him for being good to him in times of need. I hope he follows every instructions given to him so he doesn't miss this reward.
Wow! This is a huge milestone. Happy 90th anniversary to her. The celebration ground looks beautiful. Have an amazing celebration. I look forward to hearing about this beautiful celebration tomorrow.

The prince of seven cows now has learned his lesson. he got humiliated by his friend, and they left him alone, but wait this black valet becomes the prince's friend again? how a prince can believe him after getting humiliated and betrayed. It's hard for me to believe in someone who has betrayed me even once in my life. He now earned the respect of the prince by helping in his time of need, and now the prince wants to reward him for the kindness he has shown towards him, he will be told the secret that was hidden in the prince's chest for years. prince also instruct him to follow all the things he is going to told him.
This story is indeed wonderful. Could you imagine that the Black Valet was stealing from The Prince Of The Seven Golden Cows to buy a house for him. The Black Valet was indeed a nice man, even though the fact that The Prince Of The Seven Golden Cow chased him away from his house, but he was still humble to him and helped him when everyone around him disappointed him. I guess the Black Valet will become the next richest man after The Prince Of The Seven Golden Cow is gone. Well I would know fromm the next story.
Happy anniversary to Kati's mother, I wish he many more years in good health of mind and body.

Why this restaurant is called castle of owl?

The name of restaurants are strange for me because in every country, there is different cultures and different names given to some places.
If We talk about the story, I think only some Peoples are present in world that have some emotions and feelings towards others who helped them in ups and down of life.
Some Peoples do not deserve kindness and I think if You recognize that guy, stay away and keep your self safe.
Even the poor has bitten the finger that fed them for so long time, it's so unfortunate.
The Black Valet has surprised me beyond words and I thought he stole to enrich himself, but he only helped his Master to save a part of the money he was squandering. I was so touched by this gesture and his loyalty, he's really a good man and he will be greatly rewarded.
Katie's Mom is 90? She doesn't look it at all. I wish her good health and and more years to enjoy her family.
Of course do tell about the celebrations at that beautiful place, I'm looking forward to it.
Those were not his friends, they were simply sycophants, while he had money.
The story, like all the other stories that always give a great unexpected twist, I never thought that the black valet would help him, and tell him that the money he stole from him, was for Prince of the Seven Golden Cows.
Now I just have to wait how the story continues and how the black valet can beat the reed.
Kati's mom has a great offspring, in the family dinner there will be an average of 46 people including you.
I hope Kati's mom has a great time with her loved ones.
Today's story is interesting as we saw yesterday that the owner of the gold said that the king had done a lot of good to this servant and had given him the best position in his palace but how did this happen? We know that people do not value these things at all and the same is happening here. And this king is still telling him here that whatever I say you will do right there. Even the king does not know that wrong things are going on in this person's mind and he wants to become the king of this kingdom for that reason. He is doing things here in such a way that when this is revealed to the king, he will be very sad because when trust is broken, people suffer a lot.
Wish them many more wedding anniversaries and 90 years together is so much better and the hotel looks so beautiful.
It's great how what goes around comes around. The Black Valet is a perfect example of this saying, he was helped by the Prince of the seven golden cows but did the Prince know that this one favour would benefit him the most?
I salute the loyalty of the black valet and how he came to the Prince's rescue.
Even the poor beggars are the most ungrateful, it's too bad.
The Prince should thank God for a true friend like the black valet and I just have this feeling that he will be greatly and adequately rewarded for his foresight and loyalty to the Prince.

Yeah now this tale is becoming clear to me I'm understanding that.black valet is a good friend of him friends must be that person who never break our trust who stand with us at our worst. He is nice and doing best decision.

At first,I thought the black valet was stealing from the Prince of the seven golden cows so as to become wealthy but this second part of the story today changed my thought.
I’m glad that the black valet was trying to save for the Prince of the seven golden cows incase he gets poor which means that the black valet was grateful to the Prince.
The prince of the seven golden cows realized how faithful the black valet is which is why he decided to show him how he could become wealthy since he was dying.
I hope that the black valet is fortunate enough to follow instructions given by the Prince of the seven golden cows in other not to be swallowed alive.
This is getting more interesting.

Thinking about real life out of it, I believe that people are less trustworthy and it becomes harder to surround ourselves with good people.
This is really nice. Truly, when the black valet stole from the prince of the secen golden cows, I was having a bias mind. I needed to be sure that he did not steal from the prince and I'm glad he did not. He just prepared the prince for sad days like this and I'm glad about it.
The prince must be really happy with him but people can be very funny. They have forgotten how the prince used to help them back the. They didn't even waste time before they start to call him a beggar. That's bad and that's just life itself.
That's why we should not help people at the detriment of ourselves. It is really bad and we should not think that we have some people at our back when we are in need. Some people may be at our back but truly, they are hard to find.
In everything we do we should do it with good intentions and never forget the hands that once feed us some people cannot pass through their presents stage because they have look down of people because of their presence situation, not knowing that everybody has something to offer either what makes them what they are now, what brings about their downfall or the secret they have learnt over the years but age, circumstances and strength cannot allow them put them into us.
Assuming the man has been arrogant and disrespectful to the prince of the seven golden cows the secret he wanted to tell him won't have happen and the black valet man won't be richer and successful than he is that why there is a saying that said good character will make one go far in destiny.

Well I will say even if I am in the shoe of the Prince of the seven cows, I will also feel angry leaving because that's just how he supposed to feel. But I guess the princes get what he deserved. I guess he has forgotten that there is something actually called the law of karma. The law of karma really exist and it works for everyone and anyone irrespective of your position, title or whatever it may be.
