Aladdin and the Magic Lamp
Source
After a good day for the newlyweds, they had a good and happy night. In many 1,001 night tales, there are very descriptive sexual details; but not in this one.
Then the sultan is invited to visit Aladdin and Badrou'l-Boudour's palace and to see his daughter.
He ask Princess Badrou'l-Boudour if she had a good night and her answer was only a smile.
The picture of Princess Badrou'l-Budour was probably how she looked when her father, the sultan, asked about her wedding night.
After visiting the palace, the sultan asked about the imperfect window and Aladdin gives him an explanation.
ON THE THIRTIETH NIGHT
Sheherazade said:
And it was for them a splendid day, which had not had its equal in the days of Iskandar and Suleiman (Alexander the Great and Salomom).
And when night came, the meal was cleared, and immediately a troupe of dancers entered the dome hall. And it was made up of four hundred teenage girls, daughters of genies, dressed like flowers and light as birds. And, to the sounds of airy music, they began to dance various kinds of patterns and dance steps as can only be seen in the regions of paradise. And it was then that Aladdin got up and, taking his wife by the hand, walked with her, with a rhythmic step, towards the nuptial chamber. And the teenage slaves, preceded by Aladdin's mother, followed them in good order. And they undressed Badrou'l-Boudour, and they put on his body only just what was necessary for the night. And so she became like a narcissus emerging from its chalice. And, after they had been wished delight and joy, they were left alone in the bridal chamber. And Aladdin, on the verge of happiness, was finally able to unite with Badrou'l-Boudour, the king's daughter. And their night, as well as their day, had no equal in the times of Iskandar and Suleiman.
Now, the next day, after a whole night of delights, Aladdin left the arms of his wife Badrou'l-Boudour, to immediately have himself dressed in a dress even more magnificent than that of the day before, and prepare to go to see the sultan. And he had a superb horse brought to him from the stables provided by the genie of the lamp, and mounted it and went towards the palace of the father of his wife, amid an escort of honor. And the sultan received him with marks of the liveliest rejoicing, and embraced him and asked him, with much interest, for his news and the news of Badrou'l-Budour. And Aladdin gave him the correct answer on this subject and said to him: "I come without delay, O great king, to invite you to come today to illuminate my dwelling with your presence and share with us the first meal after the wedding! And I beg you to be accompanied, to visit the palace of your daughter, by the grand-vizier and of the emirs!" And the sultan, to show him his esteem and his affection, made no difficulty in accepting the invitation, and got up on time and at the moment, and, followed by his grand-vizier and his emirs, he went out with Aladdin.
Now, as the sultan approached his daughter's palace, his admiration increased considerably, and his exclamations became livelier, more accentuated, and closer together. And all this when he was still outside the palace. But when he entered it, what amazement! He saw everywhere only splendor, sumptuousness, wealth, good taste, harmony, and magnificence! And what completed to dazzle him, was the room of the crystal dome, of which he could not tire of admiring the aerial architecture and the ornamentation. And he wished to count the number of windows embellished with jewels and found that indeed they were ninety-nine in number, not one more, not one less. And he was very surprised. But he also noticed that the ninety-ninth window was left unfinished and had no ornament of any kind; and, much surprised, he turned to Aladdin and said to him: “O my son Aladdin, here is undoubtedly the most marvelous palace that has ever existed on the face of the earth! And I am in awe of everything I see! But can you tell me the reason that prevented you from completing the work of this window which thus marred, by its imperfection, the beauty of its other sisters?" And Aladdin smiled and answered: “O great king, I beg you not to believe that it is by forgetfulness or by economy or by simple negligence that I have left this window in the imperfect state in which you see it; I wanted it so on purpose. And the motive was to leave it to Your Highness to have this work completed, to seal in the stone of this palace Your glorious name and the memory of Your reign. This is why I beg you to consecrate, by your consent, the construction of this dwelling which, however decent it may be, remains unworthy of the merits of your daughter, my spouse!" And the king, extremely flattered by this delicate attention from Aladdin, thanked him and wanted this work to begin immediately. And, for this purpose, he gave orders to his guards to bring to the palace, without delay, the most skillful jewelers and the best provided with precious stones, to complete the inlays of the window. And, while waiting for their arrival, he went to see his daughter and ask her about her first wedding night. And, just from the smile she gave him and her satisfied look, he understood that it would be superfluous to insist. And he kissed Aladdin, congratulating him much, and went with him into the room where the meal was being prepared with all the splendor that befitted him. And he ate everything and found that the dishes were the most excellent he had ever tasted, that the service was far superior to that of his palace, and that the silverware and accessories were altogether admirable.
In the meantime, the jewelers and goldsmiths arrived...
— At this point in her narration, Scheherazade saw the morning appear and quietly fell silent.

This passage describes a scene that is enchanting and can make one blush.
The wedding night is a private moment between the newlyweds and is generally spent according to traditional customs or modern cultural habits. According to tradition, after the wedding ceremony, the couple will go to their new home where the elders of the family will light a wedding candle and pray for the happiness and harmony of the new couple. Then, the couple can serve each other tea, exchange wedding rings, and enjoy the decorated wedding bed to start their new life together. In modern culture, the couple may choose to go on a honeymoon trip to enjoy the romantic atmosphere of being in love in a different place and enhance their relationship. In modern cities, the newlyweds may choose to spend their wedding night in a luxury hotel where they can enjoy luxurious accommodations and private services, increasing the romance and passion of the occasion.
Aladdin replied, "I did it on purpose. My motivation was to help Your Highness complete this task, to seal your glorious name and the memory of your reign on the stones of this palace." It can be seen that Aladdin is very clever.
Although this kind of behavior may be considered insincere or dishonest in some situations, in certain cases, flattery can bring benefits. For example, when you flatter someone, you convey a positive message to them, indicating that you appreciate their work, achievements, qualities, etc. This praise can help you establish better interpersonal relationships, increase closeness and trust with the other person, and make cooperation more enjoyable and smooth.
When you flatter someone, you can make them favor you more, pay more attention to your needs and requirements, which can help improve work efficiency and results. Flattery also allows you to demonstrate your intelligence and leadership skills to others. If you can appropriately praise someone at the right time and obtain their recognition and agreement, you have the opportunity to enhance your reputation and status.
If you can win the trust and support of others through flattery, you can communicate and coordinate more easily with them in future collaborations, thereby achieving better results.
What a beautiful smile the princess has on his smile in this picture, What a splendid piece of art made by our Hive community member. I just love the art. It should be sold as NFT.
What an amazing and most awaited episode. finally the Princess has come to Alladin and her own Palace which Alladin built for her according to the beauty of Her Wife.
She came in the palace and was welcome very warmly by the servant of the House, Upon reaching to the Palace she offered to eat meal with Alladin and her mother. And then She was prepared for Her Husband with whom she will enjoy her first night.
I'm pretty sure this was the best night of her life, when Alladin and princess was alone in the room. Now Alladin can tell her about the struggle he did to make her his wife.
There is a ritual in the muslim that , the newly wed wife after spending first night with her husband go to visit their parents, where the parents ask how her first night was gone. that's is why princess went to the palace of her father and then Alladin invited the Sultan to his Palace.
I'm pretty sure Sultan was waiting for this invitation as every father want to see the place where her daughter will live her remaining life. the respect alladin shows to the Sultan and the beauty of the palace was enough for Sultan to consider that Her daughter will live happily.
And the other kind of respect that Alladin gave the Sultan was to complete the window with the Help of the Sultan, as he was respectful and notable.
Just look at that smile; as they say "A Picture Paints A Thousand Words", the beautiful smile of the Princess says it all. She is indeed satisfied with her first night with Aladdin.
Aladdin's wisdom is really amazing, he is different compared to the time he was with the Maghrebi. He has already grown up to be a strong, smart, and affectionate man. He impressed me with what he did in the 99th window which he left unfinished to give honor to the Sultan. The attention to detail is impressive and really smart. I couldn't applaud Aladdin more about it. That's how you impress your father-in-law. So, that was Aladdin's plan from the beginning.
As I was reading the part where it was mentioned that there are 400 girls that are serving them for breakfast, I was amazed at this. I imagine the size or scale of the palace is really grand and luxurious. The grandeur of the palace is worthy of the beauty of the Princess and honor of the Sultan, great job for Aladdin. Also, the crystal dome sounds wonderful; Genie's power is really limitless. No doubt.
Regarding Aladdin inviting the Sultan, I wonder why the Sultana was not included; is this part of their tradition? I'm not sure about this. And why doesn't the Sultana visit the Princess unlike when she married the Grand Vizier's son, this part sounds weird to me. Maybe the Sultana is not in favor of Aladdin but she should still visit her daughter, right? I think this will be explained in the coming chapters of the story.
I'm curious, what is Aladdin's plan on his 2nd day with his new wife the Princess? Do they have adventures to do? Their marriage customs were really very interesting. Maybe we'll see more about it in the coming chapters too.
Wow while I was reading each line of the story in my mind I was putting together the scene, since in the way it describes the story, it is easy to imagine and see.
Alladin praised his wife, in all his splendor pleasing her with every detail, so that she only radiates love and happiness, a man in love does that and even more for his beloved, but when it is reciprocated, I know that the princess falls in love with her husband Alladin
As I mentioned, Alladin is a wise and cunning person, for some reason he had left window number 99 with imperfections, this was for the great Sutan to decide how to finish this work, the last one, being the one on top, giving him a compliment and at the same time power to the Sultan, which is as if it were his Palace, in which he could finish that window with his great taste.
When he wants to flatter someone, you give him the opportunity to demonstrate his tastes and work, Allandin wanted to show the Sultan that he has good taste, that it would be an honor for Alladin if he finished that last window...
I look forward to the next chapter, I hope it's not over yet
Aladdin had his dream come through as he married princess Badrou'l-Boudour and every stars from the sky are aligned to pave a beautiful future for the two. Have on top of that the acceptance of the parents and there can never be a better context to live a fruitful life. Will this silence be disturbed in the future? I think yes as new challenges might come make Aladdin prove himself. Will his secret be revealed? That might be as well and I wonder how the others will react to it.
First of all, I would like to appreciate the picture of the princess, the way she is standing smiling and how beautiful she looks shows how happy she is, I applaud whoever sketched this picture of the princess, she is looking very attractive.
At last, Aladdin succeeded in his goal and became everything he wanted, as we know that every boy has a wish to marry the most beautiful girl like Aladdin but not everyone gets this wish, Aladdin is very lucky to have this wish fulfilled. I believe that today is the happiest day of Aladdin's life.
And the way Aladdin woke up in the morning and thought that today he would invite the Sultan to his palace for a feast, and the way he got up early in the morning and went to the Sultan's palace and the politeness with which he invited the Sultana was very good and impressive. The amount of respect Aladdin is giving to his wife and her father, the Sultan, is a result of his mother's training.
Now let's talk about the best part of today's story, In my opinion, the best part of the story is that Aladdin invited the Sultan to his palace for a feast and when the king asked why this ninety-nine window is not complete? The way Aladdin answered this question of Sultan was very good and very respectful. And as we are told in the story, the Sultan also liked Aladdin's reply in this way and was very happy.
After the meal, the Sultan has now called the rest of his slaves and ministers to Aladdin's palace, now let's see what their reaction is when they all reach here, as far as I think everyone will like this palace, except the minister (Vazir), he will deliberately make mistakes in this palace because this palace will not be tolerated because of jealousy.
Now let's see how minister tries to turn the Sultan against Aladdin.....
Everyday I seem to look forward to another chapter of this enchanting tale! So, Aladdin is now a man and he has made his new bride very happy! It's heartwarming to read how he and the princess were able to find happiness and love despite the obstacles they faced. I'd hoped he would want to spend more time in honeymoon before inviting the Sultan and his emirs to visit.
The attention to detail in the story, particularly with the ninety-nine windows of the palace, is remarkable. I'd wondered why he left a single window undecorated. Now we know! It's fascinating how he intentionally left the window unfinished to honor the sultan and his reign. The sultan's reaction to this gesture shows how much he appreciated and valued Aladdin's thoughtfulness.
I'm curious as to how the jewelers and goldsmiths will beautify the window. Thank you for sharing this captivating tale!
The lavish feast, the enchanting dance performance, and the luxurious bridal chamber all symbolize the joy and beauty of life's most precious moments. They also signify the power of imagination and the ability to create an ideal world of our own, where everything is possible and everyone is happy.
Moreover, Aladdin's humility and gratitude towards the sultan, his willingness to share his wealth and status with others, and his respect for tradition and culture reveal his moral character and his philosophical outlook on life. He values not only material success and personal happiness but also social harmony and spiritual enlightenment.
I've been sharing your posts on my Twitter because I want more people to see them.
I find this version of the story interesting. Its story is broader than the other stories I watched in cartoons and movies.
Maybe the Princess liked the first night with Aladdin so she smiled when she answered the Sultan's question. You can tell the Princess is happy in her life with Aladdin because of her happy smile. Everything went well between the Princess and Aladdin.
After reading today's story, I am very happy that Aladdin, whom he loved and desired with all his heart, has come to his house today. And when the princess came to Aladdin's house and saw how good the atmosphere was and how much respect and love was being given to her, the way we saw how many people were dancing and welcoming the princess.
The best scene was when Aladdin took the hand of the princess and they both danced together and had a lot of fun. Aladdin who got up the next morning and immediately went to the Sultan's house and invited him to come and see how happy his daughter was in our house and he said that he must bring the Wazir too but where I think the Minister will be very upset to see them both happy.
Every parent wants that their daughter should not lack anything in any house she goes to and when the Sultan saw that the house was so beautifully made and the rooms were also made very beautiful, the Sultan was very happy. His daughter will rule here. The Sultan was also very sensible when he saw that the whole house was very well made but one window did not look lovely at all so he asked them and the Aladdin ordered their guards to make it too.
The Sultan was very happy to see his daughter who was very happy in this house and when it was time to eat, the Sultan had a lot of fun when he ate. We pray that these two will be happy with each other for the rest of their lives and will not get dirty looks from people.
There is a time of joy as Aladdin's marriage with the princes was consumed and happiness flows from all the corners of the palace and from within. The king is enchanted by the Palace that Aladdin has built and where the Princess lives with him while appreciating the thoughtfulness he put into the work and the fact that he left one emblematic window to be completed by the king himself in order to be proof of his reign. Perfect times!
Oh it's clear that Aladdin has learned to be a great sycophant. I think the vizier should start worrying about his position or maybe the Sultan himself.
