Spiderlike ants

in #story7 years ago (edited)

This jumper spider looks like an Ant Weaver ant. Ant Weaver bites are very painful and they produce two different chemicals to add to the pain of the victim.

This type of ant is very aggressive and the effects of its bite can only disappear after a few days.
Many birds, reptiles and amphibians avoid this ant.

Therefore, the Myrmarachne spider is fortunate to have such an ant form, when they are harmless and very shy.
Although they pretend to look like the Ant Weaver, their front is modified exactly like ants plus two more dots to look like the eyes of the ants.

The front legs are similar to ants in ants. They can be found only in India, China and Southeast Asia
