He said it with the kind of conceited grin that clearly stated he did mean to brag and he expected her to be amazed by everything he had to say. She suppressed a sigh and looked longingly at the drinks lined up behind him.
What makes one person 'worth' more than another? It's easy to use net worth as a criteria but then we miss out on an opportunity to evaluate the meaning of the word 'worth'.
