Her mother can at least earn that much, so she can give them two meals for herself and her younger sister. But one day there is a pandemic happening that will affect everyone in the world, especially poor people who used to work in the field and who go to the city to work. The pandemic changed everyone, as so many things happened during that pandemic that even the rich and poor suffered mentally and emotionally. People understood the value of life and the importance of food from the pandemic, and also, due to the pandemic, her family and her life changed.
Zoya was a free girl who played with her younger sister while helping her mother in the field, and she also assisted all of the villagers when they needed anything. One day her sister got sick due to starvation, and she suffered from a pandemic, i.e., COVID-19, when her immunity was too weak to fight for it. Suddenly, one day, Zoya lost her younger sister.Now she and her mother have only left. They still faced so many financial problems too. There was a lot of stress that needed to be handled by her mother. After the death of her younger sister, her mother went into depression. Slowly, she starts getting weak and sick. Now all the responsibility came to the 8-year-old Zoya. Now she has to handle all the things. She took the risk of going out for the search for food. Her mother is so weak that she started counting the last day of her life. One day, when Zoya went out to search for food, her mother passed away. When she gets back to her house, her mother is already dead. She was shocked to see that situation. Now she is all alone. She stared and thought about what she would do without her mother and sister. She stayed for one week in the house without eating. One day, one of the villagers went to see her. She found herself faint due to starvation. She took her house and gave her some food to eat. But that lady’s situation was not good either. In the village, everyone is suffering badly; the situation is getting worse. Finally, that situation was heard by their governor and the world. Everyone found the situation in that village. Then finally, some organizations reached out to them to help them.
After seeing the village situation, they feel so pity for them, and they found out about the Zoya condition, which is more pitiful than others. She lost her beloved sister and mother, and now in her family, there is no one to take care of her. When the organization found out about Zoya's situation, they took her with them. There is a foundation where they help poor people and orphan children. They helped educate them, provided food, and gave them a happy life. One day they gave some loaf of bread to her to eat, and she remembered that bread used to be given to her by her mother to eat. She starts crying so little by remembering her mother and sister. She thought about her suffering for getting half a loaf of bread.
