The Trial - Taking a risk! (Ep. 1) - COLLABORATION STORY!

in #storywriting7 years ago

Hi All! Thank you for visiting my blog!
I've named the story "The Trial" for now but this may change during the creating of this story.
I hope you like the idea and are ready to collaborate!

Summary from last time:
It was cloudy outside, not the kind of weather you normally expect during April. Though our character looked through his windows only to see more clouds and rain coming up. He opened up his computer and looked at the screen. "You have 1 new message" his computer said. A slight sigh came from his lips as he picked up the mouse to open the message, "You've been selected for a trial, you will be expected April 30th on the following location". He couldn't remember what he signed up for, but something about this plain text mail got to him.. He started to wonder,..

Taking a risk!

As he looked at his watch he decided it was time to take action, with his umbrella in hand he ran to his car. Every second that passed while he drove to the place he was supposed to "be expected" his heartbeat went faster and faster, his mouth was becoming dryer and his mind was firing off different signals left and right. "Am I doing the wrong thing?", "What if it's a scam or someone trying to set me up?", "I must know what's waiting there!", "This is going to be awesome!", "No.. no I can turn around here...". As the road went on he never turned around, never took a action to stop as if some higher being told him to keep driving and took over his body whenever he doubted. He didn't recognize himself like this but was ready for a change!

He parked his car, left the parking lot and went to the square he was supposed to meet this trial. After waiting for another hour and staring at the email he opened on his phone he got a little bit angry. What if they stood him up and had a big laugh out of it, what if... and he forced himself to think "NO!". This MUST be part of the trial or something? He waited another 30 minutes before getting up and just wandering around until he saw something on the ground that caught his attention.....

--Now it's your turn! Give me some details about what is going to happen, what is his name? What is it he sees on the ground?

--The best comment(s) will be included next time! Be sure to earn your spot and input into this story

The rules are simple:

Keep it clean, it's supposed to be a fun read.
Respect my (and maybe future) writers choices.
No rape, animal violence, real life religions or copyrighted material.
No recalls. Ever! (That doesn't mean characters can't come back from the dead).
