7 times Putin apparently trounced US at St. Petersburg Forum

Vladimir Putin had a lot to say about the US at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, warning that Washington's policies may turn global economy into battle royal and suggesting that dollar's role should be revised.

Even though the Russian president didn't always identify the US or the Donald Trump administration by name, he didn't mince words about America's aggressive economic policies either.

To think that these two countries fought the World war 2 on the same side.

Not sure about that one... US just jumped in when they saw the opportunity to cement it's global dominance. Before that, thousands of ford trucks and other equipment were used by the Nazis on a daily basis...

That being said, this assertion refers to the unscrupulous few behind the shadows, the ones driving the wheels of the war. I know that the vast majority of the people from the US have high moral values and care a lot about freedom and justice.

US came in because of Pearl Harbor but continued till the end. Of course, I do follow that it was not by choice that US and Russia were on the same side, but at least they were fighting against the same ideology.

Anyway, I hope sanity prevails and we are able to see common good! 😊

It's called "American Exceptionalism", Vlad!

I agree with the words that Putin said, hopefully this time we will have leaders whose actions stand alongside his words.
