CitiOS – Sustainability Goals

in #street5 years ago

CitiOS engineering is essential to addressing all these issues that prevent governments from meeting the Sustainable Development Objectives of the United Nations. The mission of CitiOS is to help societies resolve environmental and energy concerns while also providing everyone in the community with an impartial communication network. Internet of Things (IoT) convergence of software from blockchain seems to be the only solution to solve most of these problems. In general, CitiOS blockchain technology shows great promise of helping solve these problems and allowing developed countries to meet most of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

INTRODUCTION
Most countries around the world focus on the realization of a society that can solve issues relating to environment and energy in relation to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We have seen some countries in different areas score higher than others, and some are still a long way from meeting the goals.

Nevertheless, much remains to be done, especially by developing countries to ensure that they are in a position to meet the set targets. There are perennial challenges, and traditional methods for solving them appear to be of little value and could derail sustainable development.
IoT implementation with blockchain technology is the only solution to the bulk of these problems.

In general, CitiOS blockchain technology shows great promise in addressing some of these challenges and in turn, helps developing countries meet most of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It can aid in certain matters, especially those relating to the atmosphere, power, and urbanization when implemented.

DRAWBACK STATEMENT

  1. UN Sustainable Development Objectives
Many governments around the globe struggle to achieve the UN Sustainable Development objectives, especially for Universal Security. The developing countries with Africa as a major proportion are the most affected countries. While 2030 will still be several years away, the achievement of some UN development goals, especially in most developing countries, has been sluggish. In many of these countries, the challenges are so large that their progress towards these goals nearly paralyzes them.
Goals 3, 7, 9, and 11 are the most influenced.

  2. Goal 3: Healthy living and wellbeing at all ages
Every nation is committed to increasing maternal, neonatal mortality, as well as ending epidemics of transmissible diseases such as Aids, tuberculosis, and hepatitis by 2030 in accordance with this objective.
Countries were equally committed to achieving good mental health, drug, and substance abuse prevention and treatment, reducing road accident deaths and universal access to reproductive health services and universal health coverage.

Many developed countries are well on track toward these targets, but most developing countries, especially from Africa, also take considerable steps to achieve the goals by 2030.

  1. Goal 7: Access to cost-effective, sustainable and modern energy
Through 2030, countries must guarantee universal access and quality of renewable energy infrastructure to be accessible, safe, and sustainable in their nations.
Most developing countries have found this a big challenge because most of them depend on hydropower, which is heavily affected by climate change. This can't be compared with advanced energy sources like nuclear power in developed countries.

  2. Goal 9: Strong infrastructure building, promotion of sustainable industrialization and innovation promotion
The major factor in economic development is infrastructure and industrialization. Investing in fuel, transport, and irrigation systems, as well as ICS, means that communities around the world grow environmentally friendly and empowerment. But for most developing countries, and in Africa in general, this is still a problem.

  3. Goal 11: Towns and neighborhoods for sustainable development
Cities are typically centers for social development and creativity. We play an important role in contributing to social and economic growth.
However, there are many challenges in maintaining cities to create jobs without straining the resources available. Congestion, electrification, infrastructure, and sanitation are common challenges in cities around the world.
