A "streetbeef" is best translated in plain English as when two or more people have disagreements about a particular matter that's most of the time only known to them. To squash the beef in most cases someone gets his/her ass kicked and they move on to the next one. That's the funny way to put it but streetbeefs I'm about to talk about are anything but that. Well almost.
In Virginia dozens willingly fight each other in a backyard ring to relieve stress and settle disputes. Chris "Scarface" Wilmore originally started this event more than 10 years ago and now takes place on an almost weekly basis. They won't severely hurt each other or go to jail like they would if this was handled on the streets.
Fighters are not paid nor there's an admission fee charged, so streetbeefs falls outside the jurisdiction of state licensing, according to state and local court officials. In short, nobody breaks their balls for hosting such events which is pretty epic if you think about it. Not too long ago people ended up in jail for even remotely trying to organize something similar.
I know some may say this is just a bunch of rednecks trying to do MMA but its not, some of these guys are talented, train and are devoted on becoming professionals one day. Let us not forget that Jorge Masvidal whos currently one of the biggest UFC stars started fighting in backyards. Like you have to start somewhere right? Okay, enough chit chat lets see a fight!
This one has like 15M+ views should be a fun one and make sure you sub to streetbeefs on Youtube!
