I remember years ago I had this point and shoot camera and I was fascinated by capturing macro photography shots. I was taught by some people how to do it even though I didn't have this high-end camera before. I am always grateful that i have learned so many things about photography, although I am not a pro but still practicing it. I did practice a lot with the given time and considered it as my hobby, taking photos. Until there was a time I had this DSLR camera and sometimes I spent my time on the road clicking, capturing some faces and interesting architecture.
Showing you this photo that I took years ago. Actually I am fond of macro photography too but I did try this long exposure photography, not that bad but need to practice more. The long-duration shutter speed to capture the complete still elements of images while blurring the moving sections.
Long Exposure Photography
- The paths of bright moving objects become clear and visible to our eyes.
- Creating a photo that somehow shows the effect of passing time.
Photo taken at Fuente Osmena Circle in Cebu City when christmas was approaching, the lights were very bright and totally clear though darkness disappeared. Christmas lights, jeepneys, taxis and owned cars were running but the scene included stationary and moving objects. It is said that a slow shutter speed can cause interesting effects like light trails. I wanted to practice more about photography. I learned that you do not need to be a photographer to capture great shots or interesting photos. When you take a picture and you catch a moment then a great photograph will exist.
