I took this photo on the first night of the ten-day long St. Patricks celebration in Melaque, Mexico. The "bull" charges through the crowd shooting flames, sparks, and smoke much to the delight of the crowd which runs alongside.
This is my entry for the #streetphotography contest by @juliank. Thanks for taking a look

Whew! When I read a bull runs through the village for ten days I got worried. Glad it's a human "bull". Your amazing photo has a Renaissance feel about it. Very good!
Thank you @ninahaskin The shot above was on night one which was quite calm. As the week goes on it gets nuts. That bull is a "white" bull, and these are very tame. On the last few nights, the "red" bulls come out. They are the beserkers, chasing people down, leaping over walls, shooting fire everywhere. Here's a red bull... I don't have many pics of these because they cause panic and stampedes and you have to run or get trampled.
Insanity! That's a lot of bull! Guess it's safer than the real bulls?
I'm sure it is safer
Bull!? That's no stinking bull! ;)
Those Mexican know how to fiesta :)
Check my reply to Nina, above... :)
How interesting, and definitely a more harmless way of running of the 'bull'! 😅
It's good luck to get burned. I did and people were yelling 'bravo!'
Amazing tradition you captured Keith. I don’t think I would want to be that close to the bull.
Everyone loves it, and it's great fun... just a little scary when waves of people start running!
Good to see you here and with your great photography @keithboone!
