I know this is waay underexposed portrait, but for some reason I can't explain, I really like it that way.
It was shot in the streets in Vienna, the kids were waiting for the traffic light, and one of them looked at me for a second , and I captured that moment.
Equipment :
Camera: Zenit 12XP (analogue)
Lens: Helios 58mm f1.8
Film: Ilford Ilpan 400iso 35mm
I get what you like about it. Illford Ilpan is a neat film. I believe it might be the rather high amount of grain that makes this picture special. Usually you'd miss a lot of details, but due to the grain the user won't really mind since there is plenty to look at. Plus it creates an atmosphere that goes really well with the kid's facial expression.
@jimmybruch thank you! :)
Yes, my absolutely favorite film is Ilford Ilpan, I used 15, 20 other black & white films trough years and none of them can beat the grain of Ilford.

wow very good portrait shot . i like the grain .. congratulations
Many times you raise the camera and then shoot when we reveal interesting things, for example you say that it did not have good exposure, but in my opinion, because of the situation you say about the boy shot, this picture keeps a bit of mystery, since that was his last look was his farewell and you managed to capture that moment, you never imagined that this would be the last day of that person, sometimes the reflection of taking a picture makes us come to interesting topics, I'll tell you something in my latest publication Solitary Wolf I mention from that reflection of taking the photo just before the dog Siveriano my leg, that was my instinct to shoot the camera after removing the leg, so this picture is really interesting because it tells a story you could call "The last look of a young man "thanks for sharing it with the Steemit family
