And it's really like that!!
Who cares about WHERE. What matters is letting yourself be led by the road. It is necessary to get lost in any place, to find out what's in between the journey and the destination: so much road, straight or made of dangerous curves, or uphill or downhill, unpaved or asphalted, that cross the cities or greeted by breathtaking landscapes.
The notes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the "Road Trippin' " come back to me:
"It's time to leave this town it's time to steal away
Let's go get lost anywhere in the U.S.A.
Let's go get lost, let's go get lost"
In these pictures you wont find the USA but there is any stretch of road that is lost in the Italian Apennines, more precisely towards the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, a protected natural area of 496.80 km2 (191.82 sq mi).
Where medieval and renaissance villages perched on the hills and they have always had to live with the wilderness and the large number of animals that inhabit those place.

Walk in enchanted places where life goes on normally every day, despite the visible presence of a splendid past.
Here we are!! Where the road leads us to any place in the world, the important thing is to savor life by learning that the best is yet to come.

I did enjoy it. I loved the top picture, especially...the open road and a hilltop reaching upward. Suggested vistas unseen, experiences yet to be lived. A nice theme to start a Saturday with.

After upload to the internet , the resolution , not so good .
