RE: Stay Strong. II, Contributed by @Olawalium

Don’t forget, we are the ones that determine how long we want to be in a particular situation.

This portion hit my G-spot...haha. This is "verily" true. We determine if we want to continue bearing the same problems we have or rise above it. Many people complain daily about their problems, yet they do not take a consistent, flexible, and reasonable approach to battle their problems. Hence, they have been in the same spot, doing the same jobs, earning the same salary for a number of years- and they still keep on complaining. Staying strong means staying mentally strong, staying intellectually strong, and many more.Thomas Paine once said "The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection". It's high time people stopped being weak, and start being strong.

Sort:

I like your point, some people just don't know that we gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face. We will be able to say to ourselves 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'

Exactly
If we want a change, we'll have it....
