Are you having quality education in your country?

Education plays a vital role in determining the character of a child, it is the factor that directly affects the mind of a child and prepares him/her for the future and builds his personality and thinking. But is education only just academic? Or is there something more to it? Of course it’s without a doubt to say that the education standards are not similar around the world. Some parts have better education available averagely as compared to other parts of the world. All in all, there’s no denying that the education system globally has been segregated, providing different levels of education at different price ranges. Basically there are two levels

  • You get minimal chance to find or polish your skills because the majority time is consumed by your academics.

⦁ You get plenty time to find and polish your skills as well as excel academically.

With better common/state education available, the likelihood of a proper balance between skills and academic excellence increases. Chances are, if you have been studying in the third level all along, you already have a distinguishable pair of skills and you excel at it because of the amount of exposure you have been provided with throughout your age. Not inferring at all that kids at level 1 and 2 never get to develop their skills, it takes them more time to find their skills and perfect them due to the teaching environment and lack of guidance.

So of course, level 2 is the way to go but the catch is, it is too expensive for the majority. And for the ridiculous academic prices, it sometimes feels like a rip off. Which brings us to our next point,

Is quality education a fraud?

The first question that comes to mind is, does the quality of education depend upon the fees it entails? The answer unfortunately is, apparently yes. You can attend different levels of education for a particular degree at different prices. It all depends on how much are you willing to spend. In the United States of America, higher education is super expensive and more unsurprising is the fact that the number of American high school students attending college afterwards has been slowly dropping. United States has a public as well as a private education system which nowadays is present in nearly every other country. The private education system is far better and more focused than public education system but it is also very expensive. According to the stats from 2015, about 14.57 million students were enrolled in public colleges while only 5.41 million were enrolled in private colleges. With quality education being so expensive, it affects the futures of millions of students unable to afford such education. While quality education is a fraud or not, expensive education is definitely a fraud. In my country Education is too Damn expensive after high school if you want an quality education or we can say if you want to study in well renowned college/ university you have to pay a lot. There are some Public universities in my countries which are providing quality education but there are few seats in those Universities and students who apply for seats are in millions.

Why do such cases happen?

The answer is uncertain because the problems are stringed together and there is a lot wrong with the education system globally for example the segregation of education; availability of different standards of education for the rich, poor and middle class. While the system is much more refined in developed countries, developing countries suffer tremendously due to such segregation. The main reason can be the inability of higher education institutes to accommodate the majority of students from secondary sectors due to a large difference in the quality of education and the fees it entails.

Many students from developing countries study abroad in countries like US, Australia and England to attain quality education but since the higher education in such countries is so expensive, only the rich have the privilege to get such education while the middle class can only afford to attain standard education. In developing countries, the education is more segregated. Top national institute’s charge exuberant fees from students and offer them a promising career while average students who get the same equivalent degree are faced with scarcity of jobs and less pays.

Very interesting topic, in today's world education should be based on having an elementary base and a ... financial education .. the world has changed!
