While I claim no particular expertise in cryptocurrencies, one issue I believe folks like Warren Buffet tend to overlook is that millions of people have no access to any kind of banking or monetary structure. Additionally, for some, crypto currency markets offer direct access even to small amounts, which can be a lifeline. While one often hears that its better to invest in the stock market, the beauty of crypto trading is having direct and immediate access to money. Global stockmarkets and trading are just not accessible to lower income folks, nor do they provide direct access the way crypto trading does. Usually, a stockbroker is involved and he or she, not only takes a margin but is in almost total control of trading. Even when markets crash or slide as is the case at the moment of writing, it is still possible to make 10 to 20 Euro and for many people this an opritunity to buy possibly essential items. It may not mean much to a whale ofrthose investing thousands in crypto markets, but it can make a huge difference to someone who is poor, on a tight budget or say students, struggling to make ends meet. This is the beauty of cryptocurrency markets and trading and of course the wider decentralized nature of the structure in general.
