How to create a vertex in blender

Use the default cube, switch into "Edit mode", then keyboard "Alt+M" to select "Collapse".
Now you will get a vertex likes below:

@helo, thanks for upvoting and request me, but sorry I cannot finish the frog on August 10th 2018.
