I just finished my final exams and for the last month and a half I have been studying and waiting for my exams to end so I can start watching shows, game all night and sleep all day but I’m done now and for some reason I lost interest in all of those things. Every time I launch a game I close it after an hour and feel like I can’t care about farming the perfect build for this season in diablo 3 or doing my weeklies in destiny 2. I finished Elden Ring before my exams started and I was planning on going for all souls games this summer but when I launched dark souls 3 I just didn’t want learn attack patters or dodge because I can’t be bothered. I already downloaded and uninstalled Destiny 2 two times and the same thing goes for final fantasy 14 since it’s the mmo that I have been trying to get into but couldn’t thanks to my machine learning assignments and my project reports. The only thing I was able to do was binge watch attack on titan season 4 part 2 in one sitting and that’s because I was waiting for the season to end so I don’t have to wait for a 20 minute episode each week. I’m not sure if I’m burnt out or I lost interest in those things since they aren’t as meaningful as studying for an exam. I’m happy that I finished the academic year and all the hard-work has payed off but not being able to enjoy the things that I have promised myself to enjoy when I’m done with the difficult part is really weird Thanks for reading.
