How To Get Your Mustache To Connect With Your Beard | Grooming Tips

One question that we get asked a lot is "What can I do to make my mustache connect to my beard?".. While the main issue could be genetic you can do some things to fix this.

Lets face it, Everyone is different. Some men sprout hairs from their face like weeds while others can barely grow stubble.

A lot of the issue isnt only genetics but the individual growing the hair. Ask yourself, are you being patient enough? A lot of bald spots in the beard can be fixed with growing out the hairs. Sometimes this doesnt always work.

Three Factors To Beard Growth:

There are three main factors to facial hair growth and they include

Genetics: Genetics play a major role in density, growth speed and coverage. If hair does not grow between your mustache and beard then it may just be your genetic makeup, Look back on older members in your family to get a glimps of this.

Health: Are you a healthy person? Do you diet and excersise regularly? How is your vitamine intake? These are major questions to ask yourself. Keeping yourself healthy can be a major factor in you beard hair growth. Stay healthy for  a healthy beard!

Patience: They say patience is a virtue and they where right. When it comes to growing a beard the biggest thing is waiting. It can be so hard but refraining from touching up and letting your beard grow is key to seeing what it can do.

Best ways to close the gap:

When it comes to beards there are many options. The best thing to do is find what works for you.

Styles: The first thing to growing a beard is finding a style that works with your face. When it comes to bald spots and gaps we recomend gowin over the patches and finding a shape that is most flattering to your face such as a goate, thin line, or shape up. If anything you can find a style that works without long growth. Do what suits you.

Close the gap: The first thing we recomend trying is closing the gap with growth. A lot of patches can be covered with extended growth.

Use beard wax: If you have a gap beteen your beard and your mustache you can grow  out the ends of your stache to meet the top of the beard and use beard wax to keep it straight and help train the hairs to grow in that direction.

Take care of the skin: Healthy skin equals healthy land for your hair to live. We suggest keeping your skin clean and moisturizing often.

Use beard oils:
Naturalbeard oils keep the hair healthy from the outside. They can also assist with helping your skin stay healthy under the hair helpng support better growth. We suggest Hemp oils, Rosemary Oil, Lavender Oil, Almond Oil, JoJoba oil, Tee Tree Oil, Pepermint Oil and Argan Oil. A good beard oils with one or more will help promote halthy hair growth.

Derma rolling: Derma rolling is a method of breaking th top few layers of skin to induce blood flow. Hair grows from blood circulation and derma rolling has been proven to help the blood circulate to treated areas.

Nice to meet You

Having grown a beard out for 16 months and then shaven, grown a new one, then shaved again, I found that nerves and picking at my mustache was a big culprit with this problem!

I have to agree. Picking or chewing on the ends can really hinder growth.
