First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.
Well the weather has totally gone nuts, sunny days, cloudy days then pitch black dark days with torrential rain and gale force winds - I guess Summer packed up and left the UK for somewhere more interesting.
In between todays showers I took a trip down a local industrial estate, it has a very long straight road down the centre - popular previously for people racing fast cars down it on Weekend evenings, the Police put a stop to that though.
You can see the appeal though, a long straight road that rarely see's traffic on evenings - or Sunday afternoons it seems.
To the back of the industrial buildings is a river, you can access it from some of the side roads.
And I found a lone flower in the grass on the river bank.
These are past their best though, and were blowing quick in the wind - this is the best blurry photo I could get.
Look at this though, a butterfly in the midst of industry. The wind kept moving this one, but I managed a not half job of capturing him.
The Autumn berries are starting to ripen, where has this year gone to.
The clouds returned when I took this photo on an old bridge over the river, it used to be a road that connected an industrial estate on the other side, but it became to weak for motor vehicles and is now blocked off just for pedestrians.
A big concrete block keeps the traffic off, it's good for walking over though.
And the river in the other direction, you almost would not know it is so close to a large industrial estate.
And a #funkyedits to finish, one of last weeks sun sets.

I was prompted to pop over by @traciyork. I have been meaning to for a while...I love the idea of having a space to share photograph experiments and/or photos I just like but don't have a home...I may well join you one of these sunny days.
This industrial estate looks awesome beauty of nature. Pretty flowers and butterfly are really nice shot.

I’m sorry, the bot by @holger80 is awesome but Been he coded is having issues where it looses connection with the available nodes - then the script crashes and often it currupts that database file that tells it the block it had got to - so all the missed tokens to give out remain missed. !COFFEEA

Sunny days, cloudy days then pitch black dark days that's quite normal for the UK but nice to see you got a break to capture some nice photos :)

You had a good summer, weather wise didn't you? I think someone has to sit the weather down and have a good talk with it. It has been eratic and behaving badly this year, turning everywhere topsy turvy.

Well, this was an interesting post with lots of variety @c0ff33a Industrial estates, rivers, flowers, butterflies, berries, old bridges and even a very cool funky edit to round everything off nicely. I was walking around our yard yesterday and noticed a ton of hickory nuts falling from the trees, which I always associate with fall - totally hear you on the, where the frell did summer go question!
Gorgeous shots of the flowers, and great capture of the butterfly - they are tough little buggers to get on camera. There's such a haunting beauty to the old bridge, and that funky edit sunset is wicked cool!

I remember riding over that bridge on my bike with friends, when it was still open to vehicles as well. It used to be quite busy. !COFFEEA

I’m relatively new to Farscape so a bit late to the party - but worked my way through the whole set of series back to back - it’s quite addictive and the DRD’s are super awesome - even if some of them meet some sticky end’s along the way. I heard there was a movie as well but I am yet to track that down.

Those bushes with the butterflies on it are called butterfly bushes and there is a beacon on them that calls all butterflies! :) They must be very sweet. The hummingbirds love them too.
What happened to your weather, my friend??? In Washington, DC, we are still experiencing the spoils of a nice summer, with temperatures a little over 32C today, but the humidity is gone, so there is the golden moment.
All in all, the rains do have a redeeming reason, tell me true? A most Sublime week ahead for you! I demand it!

For sure the rain is making everything grow, including the lawns! But it’s not much fun being outside when it doesn’t rain it’s blowing a gale.
The butterflies do seem to love those flowers, but we don’t often see hummingbirds in the uk !COFFEEA
