A beautiful summer day and boats are lined up at the Montague Harbor.

Boats heading out towards open water. it a great day to be on or near the water. Although today is warm, it has been cooling down at night, allowing for a good night’s sleep.

On the waterfront grounds these pretty pink roses cheer up the area.

The town looks cheery as petunias line the Montague Bridge.

It’s the time of year when a lovely splash of color is seen from the flowers.

In going home I see the lilies are in full bloom. I love the rich orange mass of color.

The Orange Lilies by the back deck. I have another group of them near the driveway.

And finally, in closing my Sublime Sunday, in flight, a little bee covered in pollen collected from the mallow flowers. I hope you can see him - he sort of blends in.

Lovely and calm on the water, and a fine selection of boats as well. The orange lillies are beautiful , a fine view from your back deck I would spend all day looking at them. !COFFEEA 15

I love each shot in your post😍😍
I lived in a city surrounded by the sea for a couple of months, one of the things I liked the most was taking a ride in what the locals called as 'tapaitos'. I ride them when I was a 10 y/o los and they left me a great impression, not sure about what other think but they were like a bus in the sea and I liked them very much.

Check this post of a fellow Venezuelan about them, I'll try to give you more links about them.

This blog also has shots about them.

Enjoy some !COFFEEAThanks so much Joel @joelsegovia! These ‘tapaitos’ sound like fun. I will check the link out to see what they are 😊

Such beautiful flowers, my dear. I love them all. 😍

Thanks my dear Roxy @ roxy-cat. Seeing flowers blooming is a wonderful gift. ♥️

Lovely flowers here Lady Jo and that's a lovely little Bumble bee.
The harbor looks so serene and we have a town here in the Cape that is called Montaqu!

I feel almost at home with this post!
Blessings!

Thanks Stephen! That’s something to have a town there with the almost same name- probably pronounced the same. Mon-ta-q.

Wow redheadpei, fantastic boats and flower photos, it's what summer is all about up there! lol. You guys doing anything this weekend?

Thanks Cowboy and good morning. Would you believe Hubs and I are meeting up with two Americans for lunch in Montague today. 😊

A couple touring the maritimes from Rhode Island are friends of my sister and her hubby. I don’t know what she told them but they wanted to meet me. 😂

Their trailer is set up near this area for a few days and then they are on to Nova Scotia. After meeting them and lunch, I will have to show them the Montague waterfront, the buffalo and then Panmure Island beach.

There are a couple of new breweries open in Montague they may want to tour. I really don’t know what they have already explored. There are many great golf courses around the Island and they are a drawing card for golfers.

Ceilidhs held this Sunday evening if they want to hear local talent with traditional maritime music but they will be on to N.S. by then.

Most tourists to the Island want to see Anne of Green Cables home and museum but that’s at the other end of the Island in Cavendish. Perhaps they have already been there.

Anything going on at your end of the world for this weekend?

Howdy redheadpei! Oh, your island is the home of Anee of Green Gables? I don't think I knew that! Well it sounds like many interesting places to go to up there, I bet they're having fun and this is a great time of the year to be in Canada!

I haven't heard of the word "Ceilidhs" before, is that like Canadian country music?

Nothing much going on here. Mrs. J is working this weekend and it's raining outside so my outside work is stopped. That means I'll spend more time on steemit today. Maybe I'll actually catch up. lol.
