Sublime and Beautiful Sunday

This is a follow on from a previous post I sharedKiwi Fruit Ninja Where I was bored with being stuck indoors and not getting out much for photos so decided to try something different using the light tent I have setup in the basement.
The previous post focused on Kiwi Fruit, this post is more fruit ninja like since I have a few different fruit.

As you can see with the first image I had a few different types of fruit

Namely Kiwi Fruit, Lime Lemon and Orange, and these starting photos with them all stacked up were the last photos I took actually,

I started with taken photos of the slices of each fruit first, beginning with the kiwi Fruit, but I have shared those images already, them moving onto the lime

If you haven't seen the previous post on this I guess I should explain, the fruit was sitting on a clear container and underneath that I had a led light to shine up through the fruit, and the background is crunched up and then pressed semi flat tinfoil

I do have some other ideas of things to try with the lightbox, but haven't got around to them yet, hopefully preparing this post now will motivate me to do that today

Uh, that's cold - I can't remember when my car was that frozen, and my car is parked outside.

My wife's car windows freeze sometimes and then she even can't open the doors 😂
Water and Oil? I have tried that a while ago and if I remember right it was a bit of a mess, but that was only my fault 😉

I realized that I currently do not know when was the last time when I ate kiwi. I regularly eat orange and other fruits, but I currently do not even remember when was the last time when I ate kiwi. It is not as if I would not like it. Actually I even like it, and I eat everything edible, and I like all kinds of fruits and vegetables. But somehow I have not ate kiwi since a long time (maybe years). And I do not even know why.
Either way, all of these are delicious and tasty foods.

A Kiwi is a small indigenous bird in New Zealand, there are f species 4 are considered vulnerable and one as life threatened, primarily due to deforestation, but currently the remaining large areas of their forest habitat are well protected in reserves and national parks. At present, the greatest threat to their survival is predation by invasive mammalian predators
The kiwi is recognized as an icon of New Zealand, and the association is so strong that the term Kiwi is used internationally as the nickname for New Zealanders.
Now the Fruit in these pictures is in fact Kiwi Fruit
Kiwifruit is native to central and eastern China where i think it was originally called Chinese gooseberry in English I am not sure what the Chinese name for it was.

Believe it or not, kiwi has twice the amount of vitamin C than orange or lemon :)
Yes that’s true
But being from NZ I have to say it’s Kiwi fruit lol
What amazing pictures of good fruits, Lime or lemons are good system cleansers to take every morning on an empty stomach while oranges and kiwi are good after meals. All have those beneficial anti oxidants and vitamins the body needs to thrive and heal. Thank you for sharing and enjoy a wonderful new week ahead :}

I see your kiwi slice had the skin on. So I guess you eat them.
My wife don't fancy me eating the whole thing by biting into it.
I generally peel the Kiwi Fruit before eating them, but for the photos I left the skin on
You can try to eat the skin and see if you like it. I have not problem with it. Just the lady don't like me to say I'm eating hairy ball.
